Craft 3- Rock Friends

Yesterday Mariah made rock friends. She did all the painting and I did the gluing (I used a hot glue gun). She LOVES to paint...she really would do it everyday if I had the energy to clean her and it up all the time!

We found rocks in the driveway and I washed them to get the dirt off. Other than that it was her creativeness (and my ability to wield a glue gun).

Craft 2- Brown Bag Puppets

We both had fun with this one...I made all the same ones she did...only you will get to see hers not mine! She is the little artist for this blog, not fair to show Mommies. Although...in some cases I think mine might look more like the child version...LOL!

Craft 1- Paper Plate Hat

Mariah wanted to start today....so we did!! She made this cute paper plate hat.


Usually you would use a round plate...but we were out! Just cut the plate from the center, to fit your child's head. Then let them color and decorate as they like. We had foam stickers so I gave her those but you could cut out and glue paper shapes.


We added a string so it would stay on better (Mariah has her daddy's head...kindof big)

Have fun being creative...we did!!

New name and idea

Ok...so this picture thing is not happening for me. I have decided to make this a crafty blog. Mostly it will be crafts that Mariah and I do together but maybe other stuff thrown in. So stay tuned for the first craft!
